I drove the art direction and design on a pair of apps built specifically for Windows 8 and Windows Phone, fairly early in the lifecycle of those systems. With such a distinctive UI point of view, these ecosystems provided a fantastic challenge—respect the rules of the system while making it feel engaging, unique, and unmistakably ESPN. The Windows 8 app earned a reputation as the best-looking native app deigned for the platform at the time.
